[Off] What Adobe Flex can do?

Hello, everybody!

I recieved an e-mail from Harry Thompson asking me what exactly you can do with Adobe Flex Builder! So, Adobe Flex is a software development kit released by Adobe Systems for the development and deployment of cross-platform rich Internet Applications based on the Adobe Flash platform. Flex Applications can be written using Adobe Flex Builder or by using the freely available Flex compiler from Adobe. It can basically be programmed with ActionScript or MXML! Pamphlets

I know I said I wouldn't post anything about Corel for now, but I created some images last night that looked pretty good so I decided to post them! They are pamphlets to an imaginary school, but it could be your school or you company! ;) Enjoy it! (Click the image to see it full size)

School's Logo

This is a logo that I created for a local school using the 3D Studio Max, I also created a video that was used as the school's screen saver so you can watch it now! Hope you guys like it! (Click the image to see it full size)

Little Soldier

This was the first character I created with 3D Studio Max, I mean human character, I know it's not that realistic but bear in mind that it's a low poly character, so it's meant to look fake... lol Anyways, hope you like it! (Click the image to see it full size)

Changing appearance

This is a tutorial picture for modelling a character with 3D Studio Max, but I edited it with Photoshop and made some changes on his face just for the sake of it...lol! I found it pretty good so I decided to post it! Hope you like it! (Click the image to see it full size)

Changing Face

Photoshop Sample - Vanishing Point

A Screwdriver

Edited photo

This is a Photoshop CS3 work, I used one of the my tutorials pictures and made some changes with Photoshop! I really love working with Photoshop and images, it's just great and I would appreciate a lot if you comment over the Photoshop things I do, the other too, but especially the editing photo process! :) (Click the image to see it full size)

Organic Statue

This one I created following the AutoDesk's free course, and it's a woman, well at least that's what the tutor said! Hope you enjoy it! Plane

This is a plane I created following some of the Lynda.com series, it took me 3 days to finish it and 1 to tweak some things and apply the materials! I wish I could fly on it...hehe (Click the image to see it full size)

Bottle

Cactus

This is a little character I created by myself! I found the reference images on the internet and found it easy and nice to model! I used some VRay Materials also, I hope you enjoy it! (click the image to see it full size)

The Earth

This is one of my favourites because it took me a long time to finish! I created the earth going around the sun! It's a short animation and I created this movie following several tutorials I found on the internet. I will never forget the feeling I had when I saw the final result! Hello everybody!

My name is Paulo R. Teixeira Jr., I'm 20 years old and I've been working as a web designer for 1 year already so I decided to create a portfolio to expose some of the nice things I've learned. I have Photoshop skills, Dreamweaver skills, 3D Studio Max skills and Adobe Flex Builder skills! I'm learning how to use Flash, Fireworks and CorelDraw yet, so I will not post anything about it for now! Bear in mind that I've never taken any classes on those subjects, everything I know I learned by myself as well as my English, so don't worry if I make any mistake! ;)
